Olivia was borne 08/18/2019. She is very sweet, she has a very gentle, pet like personality. She stands only 43″ tall. She has a beautiful dun color. We hate to sell her, but we feel that this is best for her.
Last Summer she was diagnosed with chronic pneumonia, the vet said that she would not be able to breed. We recently had the vet out again for a follow up on her health. He found no signs of breathing difficulty and she is back up to weight. He said that we can breed her safely, and she probably was just having a hard year, but he also said that she is more susceptible to heat than our other cows, for this reason we believe that she should go to a cooler climate, Virginia wether is too hard on her. There is nothing wrong with her, but you need to buy her knowing this. If you need her medical info I’d be happy to send it to you.
Until purchased, she will be in with our bull. He is a Highland, White Park, Hereford cross. Once she is confirmed pregnant her price will go up. We are also in the process of registering her with IMCBR.
She is still a heifer, we only recently got our bull and she has not been in with him until recently.
She is such a sweet girl, she gets along with everyone. We have had herder three years now and have enjoyed every moment with her.
She would make a great addition to any farm!!
