Have you always wanted a hippopotamus for Christmas? Colby said he volunteers to be your land hippo! He’s built about like a hippopotamus but much less dangerous 😉
Colby is the sweetest 9 month old (as of December 20) micro mini western heritage (mini dexter x zebu) bull calf. He stands all of 30” at the hip on his tippy toes! Colby is polled. His dad is a micro mini Dexter measuring 35” so he should stay pretty small. For everyone who has met Oliver in our petting zoo, this is his full brother (you can see the resemblance!). Colby is super sweet and game for anything. You can walk right up to him to put a halter on.
For anyone wanting to start a herd of micro mini cattle, we have Beezus who is unrelated.
He still takes one bottle a day but can be weaned at any time. He is eating grain and hay. We just have a hard time telling that sweet face no! He walks on a halter and lead like a pro. He would make a great petting zoo addition!
Colby will come UTD on shots and worming and will have a current health certificate to guarantee a healthy calf.
