About
Come experience countryside paradise at Sterling Hills Farm.
Sterling Hills Farm was founded on a vision of unwavering excellence and of course – a love for Highlands! When we began a pursuit of unrealized dreams in 2020, we couldn’t have imagined it would include the beloved ‘Heilan Coo’. As we put into motion raising these beautiful bovine to offer other families, we knew we wanted to extend more but do so in a quality, uncompromising way. We are committed to raising high caliber cattle that is easy to handle and amplify their best qualities through selective breeding. We are also committed to conducting ourselves with honesty and integrity, so that when you adopt one of these sweet Highlands into your pasture, you know exactly what you are bringing home.

April 17, 2024 at 3:28 pmSometimes in life there are people and places that leave imprints on your heart forever, and that’s exactly what happened when my daughter and I visited Sterling Hills Farm a little over a year ago. Robin and Shawn welcomed us into their world with open arms. I didn’t know anything about highland cows, except that they were beautiful creatures, and in my dreams, I needed one! We were able to love on their highlands, feed them treats, take a ride around the farm, learn how their farm process works, and ask endless questions which they answered honestly. They even allowed my daughter to spend her Spring break there (now 2yrs in a row) to work and learn around the farm. Last June their first baby was born and I just knew I wanted him! When I tell you these people are Godsent, they for sure are. Robin was so patient with me, she was available any time that I needed her – day or night! Robin and Shawn made sure that we would be a good “fit” for “Wrangler” and sent endless pictures and videos from the time he was born until the time we were able to take him home. When Wrangler was ready to go home, Robin asked us if we wanted to take his buddy home with us too just for a temporary home to get him adjusted. Without question, of course I do. My daughter cried, his buddy had been her favorite all along, and a week later these sweet humans gifted him to her. I quickly realized that not only did Wrangler need his buddy “Stetson” but my daughter Brooklyn needed them both. Wrangler brings out her strength, and Stetson shows her that you must have patience – trust doesn’t come easy and its okay to be scared, as long as you have each other you can conquer the world. I am forever grateful for Shawn and Robin, they came into our lives exactly when we needed them. They are the most genuine, down to earth people you could ever meet, and now forever friends. So, if you ever get a chance to visit “that beautiful barn up on the hill” do it, it brings a different kind of peace, a peace that makes you feel like you are right where you need to be.

April 17, 2024 at 9:17 pmI could not have had a better experience. Robin made this process so easy. She was amazing at sending me random photos before pickup. Always so kind. Even though it was raining terribly we got to see some of the area and check out our sweet Maxwell before leaving. She continues to communicate with me and made me feel so comfortable about asking any further questions at anytime. Maxwell is the best. Great people. And they love their animals like I do. Maybe in future I can purchase another from her. ❤️

June 2, 2024 at 7:41 pmI feel so lucky to have found Robin and Sterling Hills when we were looking to begin our adventure with Highland cows! Her communication is top notch and we appreciated her honesty in regards to her own animals. We purchased two ladies after lots of information and a farm visit. We are so pleased with our two gals. Robin will not lead you astray! Whatever it is you are looking for she will help you in anyway that she can.
